Love has a “want” stronger than a “need.”

Need is really not love! If I “need” another, their value to my life is them filling my need. If they don’t, then they must not love me. That's not love. Love wants the person in your life because it gives you the feeling of someone accepting you and wanting to really get to know you, not use you.
